Only 19% say their organisations have no plans to adopt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8423daaa2d6ca994ac9963320665a5c2\" style=\"color:#d64000\">Workflows are shifting <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>GenAI is becoming embedded in daily work. More than 80% of current users engage with it weekly and more than 90% say they expect it to become a central part of their workflow within five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2a31ef39c1c9a8fb8f4d28c5445d78b4\" style=\"color:#d64000\">Agentic AI&#8217;s growth stage <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Only 15% said their organisations use agentic AI, yet an additional 53% say their organisation is either planning or considering it. Yet, many anticipate significant industry disruption, with growing concern that AI may threaten jobs, billing models, and traditional professional roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d6ac76d4cfefef02d31f662f8d8de6e2\" style=\"color:#d64000\">Accuracy is the top barrier to AI adoption<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As generative AI becomes embedded in professional workflows, many professionals remain cautious about how much they can rely on AI\u2011generated outputs. In fact, reliability and accuracy are cited as the leading reasons professionals hesitate to apply generative AI to their work, underscoring the need for <a href=\"https:\/\/insight.thomsonreuters.com.au\/legal\/posts\/westlaw-advantage-australia-more-than-an-ai-upgrade\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/insight.thomsonreuters.com.au\/legal\/posts\/westlaw-advantage-australia-more-than-an-ai-upgrade\">trusted sources <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/insight.thomsonreuters.com.au\/legal\/posts\/trusted-content-trusted-ai-powered-deep-research\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/insight.thomsonreuters.com.au\/legal\/posts\/trusted-content-trusted-ai-powered-deep-research\">human validation.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d49db2a6fee25dff56971f543ca74c64\" style=\"color:#d64000\">AI&#8217;s ROI remains elusive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite widespread AI adoption, only 18% of professionals say their organisations track return on investment (ROI)\u00a0\u2013 and mostly through internal metrics. Another 40% say they don\u2019t know if ROI is measured at all, leaving many professionals using AI without clear success criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-374f7296734e011cd5e59e8249c1210b\" style=\"color:#d64000\">Client-firm AI disconnect <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Two-thirds of corporate respondents want their outside firms to use AI, yet fewer than 20% mandate it, creating confusion since many professionals receive conflicting client guidance.
